With CURSED, screenwriter Kevin Williamson and director Wes Craven (SCREAM) take another playful trip to the dark side. This time around, their sights are set on one of the horror genre's most popular subjects: werewolves. Set in an ultra-hip modern Los Angeles, the film tells the tale of siblings Ellie (Christina Ricci) and Jimmy (Jesse Eisenberg), who have yet to fully come to terms with the loss of their parents. Ellie works at "The Late Late Show With Craig Kilborn" and dates ladies' man Jake (Joshua Jackson), while Jimmy is a less-than-popular high school student with a crush on the prettiest girl in school (Kristina Anapau). But one night, after Ellie and Jimmy get into a car accident on Mulholland Drive, they are bitten by what appears to be a bona fide werewolf. Soon, both brother and sister are exhibiting behavior that can only mean one thing--that they, too, have been cursed. A troubled production history notwithstanding, Craven's film remains a fast-paced, clever addition to the genre. Featuring a star-studded supporting cast (including Mya, Judy Greer, and Shannon Elizabeth), as well as an energetic modern rock soundtrack, CURSED takes viewers on a thrill-ride through the dark side of Los Angeles. • Cursed: Unrated Version
  • Packed with even more intense thrills than audiences experienced in theaters, this unrated version of Wes Craven's CURSED brings you the terror of werewolves as never before! Christina Ricci (MONSTER), Jesse Eisenberg (THE VILLAGE), Joshua Jackson (TV's DAWSON'S CREEK), Judy Greer (THE VILLAGE), and Milo Ventimiglia (TV's GILMORE GIRLS) find themselves caught up in an unimaginable horror! A werewolf loose in Los Angeles changes the lives of three young adults who, after being mauled by the beast, learn that the only way to break the curse put upon them is to kill the one who started it all! From the creators of SCREAM, this never-before-seen version is shockingly more frightening and undeniably more fun than the original release!

It really never deserved to be more than a quickie TV-movie on the WB, where it would've aired around Halloween and then faded into oblivion.

A procession of silly startlements: a sudden loud sound here, a mysterious hand creeping in there. This isn't scary, it's irritating. And then it's tiresome.

Until this past Friday, the worst werewolf film ever made was, hairy hands down, Mike Nichols' Wolf. Cursed now assumes that dubious distinction and someone is going to have to try very hard to wrestle it away.

Cursed, somehow, manages to not be scary, not be funny and not be involving, all of which Craven & Co. are so painfully reaching to attain.

It's disheartening to see three so extraordinary talents as Craven, Williamson, and Ricci create so distinctly ordinary a product. (Unrated Version)

Subestima a inteligência do espectador do início ao fim e apela para todo tipo de clichê de direção para tentar provocar sustos ocasionais.

Watchable horror film has good performances and several nice moments but it's let down by some dodgy CGI and a patchy script.

Cursed is a sheep in wolf’s clothing, pulling the wool over what might have been a decent bit of rip and shred.

If this is the way Craven is headed, we should be mourning the loss of a true talent.

Cursed feels like a series of curveballs designed to confuse the audience into thinking they're watching anything other than bad dialogue.
