As a film and story, Best in Show is completely unremarkable which is exactly what it sets out to be. It’s a mockumentary that’s more focused on letting the talented comedians portraying these dog handlers be talented and funny and showcasing their skills. So while the story doesn’t amount to much, you leave satisfied knowing that the characters you just watched are unforgettable. That’s the secret to a great comedic Mockumentary…let the funny people be funny and this film is LOADED with funny people. None more so than Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy.
