This week we discuss Dr. Indiana Jones' long-awaited return to the screen in Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull , deliver a message directly from the Raging Boll AKA the Teutonic Terror AKA Postal director Uwe Boll, and answer more viewer mail.

Where did the Rotten Tomatoes name come from? Do we ever appear on radio shows...perhaps like Adam Carolla's morning show on 97.1 FM? What constitutes "appropriate bars" in any naked painting of Dave?

Tune in next week as we discuss the highly anticipated Sex and the City: The Movie and the home invasion thriller The Strangers. Fun times ahead! But for now, we leave you with the following. Let your simmering Indiana Jones excitement boil over with the help of film critic Luke Y. Thompson...

Uwe Boll needs to be Quarantined right away and kept away from any Camera device.

Germany needs to elect someone who doesn't care for Boll's films. Maybe that way, the government will cut off his funding for films that would make Ed Wood cringe.

What the hell is that idiotic you tube thing, with that awful song doing here? Trying to make UWE boll look better in comparison? AWFUL.

Uwe Boll is an idiot nazi. Even though he called someone a "qint." I haven't heard that as an insult in decades. . .

solid guys,

I actually enjoy the show being longer than the granted 4 mins. But I guess with the source material, there isn't actually a time consraint, I just noticed the previous episodes generally tend to be about 4 mins.

So, I just wanted to ask, where would a viewer such as myself, post or rather ask questions for the show?

P.S. Speed Racer rocked! Looks like I was also off on the tomato meter for that flick :o(

Well, big improvement this week! Granted, it's not perfect, but it is fresh. It was good seeing you talk about tone, character dynamics, and performances.

As for Uwe Boll, what a self-serving buffoon! "You should like my movie and highlight the people who are saying good things about it." Where does he get off having an entitlement complex?

And ten years later, here we are? What got us from Point A to Point B?

From just the previews, I had my reservations about Speed Racer. I thought either the lighter and heavier elements (the characters and action scenes vs. the conspiracy plot) would clash and destroy the film, or it would be a successful exercise in style. Looks like it went more the former way.

One last note: Jen must always wear that dress from now on.

Excellent job on this one, guys! This show really is improving with each installment. I think that giving the show that extra few minutes really helped it out. Good to see an actual complete conversation, rather than just little snippets.

I busted up when I saw Jen's dress after the "no more cleavage" comment last month. Hey, I suppose if it gets more views... you go girl! ;)

And Dave...

LOL.

I hear Uwe Boll is pretty good boxer though...What that has to do with anything? I have no idea. I'm just saying, he's a terrible film maker but I wouldn't want to fight the guy.

Indy 4 was, well... Indy 4. No worse than the other sequels and possibly better, except for the monkey swinging sequence (ugh).

Short round? SHORT ROUND? Jen, I think you may be losing the plot.

#1) Indiana Jones and the KOTCS was a great ride! I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

#2) Uwe Boll is the worst...and I mean worst mainstream filmmaker EVER.

you should all sign the petition that uwe boll made, saying if 100000 people signed it, he wouldn't make another movie.

Thanks for the comments, all! Glad to make Captain S. happier this week. I like the longer conversation more as well. Sm1ley, you're totally right - after all that talk...well, let's just say I don't take into account the downward camera angle when I get dressed in the morning. Duly noted.

Have a great weekend, guys!

Forget filmmaking, I have now found my mission in life. I must convince Jen Yamato that I am the man for her. Nothing else matters. Well, paying the bills would still be a priority and personal hygiene, of course, and I gotta eat and I'd still like to make my movie but, after those things are complete, I'm all yours, Jen.

Sigh.

I went to see Indiana Jones last night, and I enjoyed myself.
Great film, I can't complain really, but something irked me about a half hour in. You know in movies, how sometimes there'll be a picture from two characters 'old days'?
"Here's a photo of us when we were growing up" a character will say, and then you think 'hmm, how will they do this? There's no photo of them together when they were kids, I guess they'll just use kids that have the same hair color or kind of look like them.' Then blammo, they use a photoshopping meld of childhood photos of both of the actual actors, and it's so obvious and stupid. It's just comical, I always laugh. But this time, I mean, and if you've seen the movie you know which one i'm talking about, it's just atrocious. A young shia lebeouf wearing a sailor top/burglar costume and then a young shot of what's his face(the old guy who plays knox or ox or whatever) melded together and made to look 'old timey' with the crappiest of photoshop applications. Donny from 'you suck at photoshop' would have a field day with the picture, and yet there it is. ILM??

Hated it! They lost me when they opened the alien's coffin early in the movie.I wouldn't even see this on DVD, even though I own the other Indiana Jones DVD's.
