Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh team up in "Mayday," a genre-bending, action-packed buddy comedy that flips the spy thriller on its head. When hotshot U.S. Navy pilot Lieutenant Troy "Assassin" Kelly (Reynolds) is sent on a top-secret mission into Russian territory at the height of the Cold War, the operation implodes, leaving him stranded behind enemy lines. Discovered by Nikolai Ustinov (Branagh), a gruff ex-KGB agent with a penchant for American culture, Troy thinks he's toast -- but could an unlikely alliance between the two lead to Troy's rescue and a bond neither saw coming?

The new Daley & Goldstein isn’t the most narratively audacious movie, but it’s a strong reminder that even a streaming comedy can look as good as any blockbuster Go to Full Review

Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh bring charm and comic chemistry to this nostalgic Cold War adventure. Mayday borrows freely from ’80s action classics, but its brisk pace and playful spirit make the familiar formula an entertaining ride. Go to Full Review

When the film stops worrying about solving curses and simply allows Sally and Gillian to be together, it almost always gets better. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Nothing new or exciting here but a good bit of popcorn with a fun performance from Kenneth Branagh. Highlight for me was the wine cellar scene. See more Joe W @JoeWasik 6 hrs ago Mediocre junk. Not worth your time. See more Jessica Z @RT37807213 7 hrs ago Kenneth Branaugh is great! Ryan Reynolds needs to retire he’s only one note and it’s not a good one. Fine to have on while you’re reading news or scrolling. We need more originality again these things feel so rote.
