Why the hell make an X-Files 2? The show ended a long time ago and I don't think there is a very big demand for a second movie. No wonder why Hollywood doesn't make money

The Thacker Case could be cool. With Dawson and Harrelson being added to Seven Pounds, I'm now looking forward to it. Shutter Island and Milk are shaping up nicely.

There is a very high demand for the second x files movie. The script was ready to go when the strike hit, theres a built in fan base, the budget will most likely be low, etc. It might not be a huge summer blockbuster or anything, but I'd rather have an x-files sequel than another horrible remake.

uhhh Duchovny has a hit show on Showtime. I doubt he is hurting for money...his wife is also a successful actress after all.

I'd personally rather see a Serenity 2 over an X-Files 2, but I guess that's just me. :)

The new Indy poster is insanely cool though, and I really want it on my wall:
