on Apr 01 2008 06:42 AM Exactly HOW are these people more interested in the 'Mummy' than the 'Incredible Hulk' or 'X-Files?!' 'Oooh. Brendan Fraser! He'so DREAMY (circa 1992)! I love the way he channels Harrison Ford doing Indy (circa mid to late 80's).' 'Oooh, Jet Li as a long-dead Emperor doing (gasp) martial arts! In a movie with Brendan Fraser (swoon)' I don't begrudge people their choices (honestly, just f#ckin' around here), but I am *mystified* by them. Enjoy the summer, folks. I know I will.. on Apr 01 2008 07:41 AM I'm only interested in the Top 2, and the new X-Files. Somewhat the new Mummy, but I have my doubts. Especially considering my lady Weisz isn't in it but we'll see. I'm glad they got the Character part right. The portrayal of the Joker is the only reason I want to see this film. That and Bale of course. (Reply to this) |

on Apr 01 2008 07:47 AM was very surprised that no one is excited by wall-e as well. the trailer i really thought was a grabber, but then again, this is what you deal with when you have a blatant a voluntary response bias which in no way includes children or, in a large part, families in general. this summer is gonna be dope though... on Apr 01 2008 08:18 AM Wall-E? Where are you? The Dark Knight should have been first, I have a feeling that Indiana Jones is going to underwhelm. I 100% don't WANT it to, but for some reason I'm getting a bad vibe. We'll see. I also didn't realize Get Smart was so high on everyone's radar. I love the new trailer though, so I think the attention is worthy. This summer is going to be amazing! (Reply to this) |

![]() on Apr 01 2008 09:13 AM TDK is my most anticipated summer movie without a doubt. In my opinion,Harrison Ford is washed up and frankly,he's not as sexy as he used to be.He looks old and grumpy too. Shia,on the other hand is the future of leading men,and he will definitely be the next Indiana Jones or the next something.Shia is mature beyond his 21 years, and he has great range and acting ability, and he's hot to boot. But Christian Bale is the best in my opinion, and he can not only play an American character, and kick *** doing it,but he can tackle any role and do it justice. He's amazing!!!! TDK rules!!!!! (Reply to this) |

on Apr 01 2008 09:35 AM I don't think Wall e has been marketed very well, all I've seen is that trailer of him picking up futuristic trash. I really don't see the point of it. My top 5 summer/late srping. 1 iron man 2 batman 3 Speed Racer 4 Forbidden Kingdom 5 Hancock Indiana Jones was almost in there, but come on it really seems like the same old story of spelunking over snake pits while going through some family discovery. on Apr 01 2008 10:02 AM wait, no else is upset that the sex and the city movie cracked the top 10? that pretty much discredits the entire list right there. and the mummy 3 is gonna blow. yes rachel wiesz, you ARE too good for these movies now. reading on here a few months ago sommers' confused, incoherent yammering about the fight sequence he was set to shoot that day was enough to let me know that the movie's gonna be one giant cg cluster-fucck. on Apr 01 2008 10:11 AM I'm honestly not at all surprised that the Mummy is on there. I mean, c'mon - they're fun, summer popcorn flicks, and to those who treat them as such they've yet to disappoint - I don't understand all the resentment. I mean, why WOULDN'T it be more anticipated then HULK, whose last outing was mediocre at absolute best? My Top 5: 1. INDY 2. TDK 3. WALL-E 4. IRON MAN 5. MUMMY (Runner Ups: HANCOCK, PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, HELLBOY 2) (Reply to this) |
