Co-founded blink-182 in the San Diego suburbs with singer/bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Scott Raynor. Blink made its recording debut with the self-released Fly Swatter EP in 1993, followed by the full-length Buddha in 1994. Commercial breakthrough came with blink's fourth album, the multi-platinum Enema of the State (1999), which featured the hits "All the Small Things" and "What's My Age Again?" Founded a shoe company, Macbeth Footwear, in 2002, and has since expanded the line to include clothing. Following blink's decision to take an indefinite hiatus in 2005, formed the alternative rock group Angels & Airwaves.
