Versatile American character actor Wayne Knight has been frequently on stage, screen and television since the late 1970s. In the early '80s, he temporarily left acting (after appearing over 1,000 times in the play Gemini) to become a private detective. In 1986, Knight returned to film in The Sex O'Clock News. He has worked with a number of distinguished directors including Oliver Stone, Kenneth Branagh and Steven Spielberg playing roles ranging from comics to villains. On television, he is best known for playing the oily, self-serving postman Newman on the long-running sitcom Seinfeld, and Officer Don on the outworldly comedy Third Rock From the Sun.

QUOTES FROM Wayne Knight CHARACTERS
- Stan Podolak
-
C'mon Michael it's Game Time. Get your Hanes on, lace up your Nike's, grab your Weaties and your Gatorade, and we'll pick up a Big Mac on the way to the ballpark.
- Stan
-
My God, it's Cleopatra. I feel like such an asp.
- Dennis Nedry
-
Uh uh uh! You didn't say the magic word! Uh uh uh! Uh uh uh!
- Al McWhiggin
-
What? That's in Yen, right? DOLLARS?!
- Dodgson
-
You shouldn't use my name.
- Dennis Nedry
-
(loudly) Dodgson, Dodgson, we've got Dodgson here! See nobody cares. Nice hat. What are you trying to look like a secret agent or something.
- Dennis Nedry
-
[loudly] Dodgson, Dodgson, we've got Dodgson here! See nobody cares. Nice hat. What are you trying to look like a secret agent or something.
- Zack
-
We have to find that heart!
- Mr. Pollini
-
Don't worry, I have lost my heart many times.
- Zack
-
What?
- Mr. Pollini
-
I made a joke to distract you from how screwed you are.
- John Hammond
-
Dennis, our lives are in your hands and you have butter-fingers?
- Dennis Nedry
-
[Laughs] I am so unappreciated in my time. You can run this whole park from this one room with minimal staff for up to three days. Do you really think that kind of automation is easy [takes a drink of soda] or cheap? Do you know anyone who can network eight connection machines or debug two million lines of code for what I bid for this job? Because if you do I'd love to see them try.
- John Hammond
-
I am sorry about your financial problems Dennis I really am but they are your problems.
- Dennis Nedry
-
Oh you're right John you're absolutely right, you know everything is my problem.
- John Hammond
-
I will not get drawn in to another financial debate with you Dennis, I really will not.
- Dennis Nedry
-
It's been hardly any debate at all.
- John Hammond
-
I don't blame people for their mistakes, but I do ask that they pay for them.
- Dennis Nedry
-
[Nods his head] Thanks dad.
