Labyrinth (2025) 81/100 EDIT “A modern day Alice Through The Looking Glass, if wonderland was a social media influencer nightmare living inside your smart phone.” – Mac the Movie Guy May 7, 2026 Full Review The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026) 78% 80/100 EDIT “The original was fresh and trendy, with transformative performances. The sequel mostly retains that, pushing these lived in characters into the state of print journalism in 2026. A legacy sequel worth your time, even if it doesn’t top the original.” – Mac the Movie Guy May 6, 2026 Full Review The Python Hunt (2025) 92% 61/100 EDIT “The Python Hunt is less for people looking for a thrill ride, and more for people who get a kick out of what Florida Man gets involved in.While not intended to be a comedy, for many audiences, its curiosity will be.” – Mac the Movie Guy May 5, 2026 Full Review Espina (2025) 74/100 EDIT “Worth celebrating for its irreverent take on disability, refusing to be trapped in a polite box of inspirational wonder, and instead daring the audience to see Jonathan as more than just a man in a chair. ” – Mac the Movie Guy May 5, 2026 Full Review Disposable Humanity (2025) 100% 90/100 EDIT “Possibly the least disposable documentary of the year, challenging its audience to reckon with an often forgotten aspect of the Holocaust, and bringing a profound light to lives lost. Am absolute must-see, and devastatingly effective.” – Mac the Movie Guy May 5, 2026 Full Review No One Cares About Crazy People (2025) 88/100 EDIT “A wake up call for people who care about crazy people, likely preaching to the choir in an attempt to get the choir to sing louder about a largely still ignored epidemic in this country that affects more than we’d like to admit.” – Mac the Movie Guy May 4, 2026 Full Review Tarot (2024) 12/100 EDIT “I’m suggesting your life will be more rewarding if you do not watch this. Staring into space for 90 minutes is more productive. The worst film of 2024. ” – Mac the Movie Guy May 1, 2026 Full Review Ghostlight (2024) 99% 98/100 EDIT “Ghostlight is my pick for Best Picture of 2024. It stayed with me and never left. Absolutely brilliant.” – Mac the Movie Guy May 1, 2026 Full Review Lone Wolves (2025) 74/100 EDIT “Lone Wolves proves that beating your own drum sometimes is the whole point, and approaching things from a unique mindset makes all the difference.A delightful gem with honest representation. ” – Mac the Movie Guy May 1, 2026 Full Review Swapped (2026) 72% 84/100 EDIT “Get the family together on the couch for Swapped, a delightful new adventure that is heartfelt, hilarious, and pure magic.” – Mac the Movie Guy May 1, 2026 Full Review Balls Up (2026) 23% 62/100 EDIT “Mostly this film works, at least on some base level, thanks to the talent involved, and the basic understanding of how to embrace a dumb concept for even dumber laughs. there is something about Balls Up.” – Mac the Movie Guy May 1, 2026 Full Review Roommates (2026) 65% 59/100 EDIT “A film that mistakes passive aggressiveness for character development, confuses chaos and comedy, Roommates is unhinged, and not for any particular narrative reward. ” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 19, 2026 Full Review I Swear (2025) 97% 8.9/10 EDIT “Do yourself a favor and check out this heartwarming biopic. I swear you won’t regret it.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 19, 2026 Full Review Everyone Is Lying to You for Money (2025) 100% 87/100 EDIT “McKenzie does his best to streamline and make information on crypto more accessible, while maintaining that this is his opinion, and and he’s not giving you financial advice, nor should any actor.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 15, 2026 Full Review Thrash (2026) 43% 31/100 EDIT “Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water, Netflix answers the call with a variation on sharknado that is somehow worse, less fun, and has no bite to it.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 14, 2026 Full Review Screams From the Tower (2024) 71/100 EDIT “Screams from The Tower sounds like teen spirit, with an engaging fresh ensemble that pays homage to classic 80’s and 90’s teen comedies. However, the lack of needle drops, which teen films thrived on, left me dazed and confused.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 13, 2026 Full Review Pretty Lethal (2026) 57% 64/100 EDIT “Pretty Lethal might have a killer logline, but it is pretty lame with its character development, leaving the final project stuck in second position. At least the action was on pointe.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 12, 2026 Full Review The Housemaid (2025) 73% 76/100 EDIT “The Housemaid is energetic, defined by devilishly great lead performances, and a block of twists with a can’t stop won’t stop attitude. If nothing else, it certainly isn’t boring.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 12, 2026 Full Review One Mile: Chapter Two (2026) 57/100 EDIT “If you liked Chapter One you may still want to see how the story ends. Just don’t expect this to go the extra mile.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 12, 2026 Full Review Outcome (2026) 28% 34/100 EDIT “Jonah Hill’s Outcome shows that the worst thing about cancel culture may not be the actual cancellation, but rather having to make a film about it.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 12, 2026 Full Review The Normal Heart (2014) 94% 96/100 EDIT “At your wits end, when there is no end in sight, Mickey’s monologue, while extremely specific is so deeply human that anyone who has ever been in a losing fight, can relate to Mickey’s frustration with the very foundation which his group stands.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 11, 2026 Full Review Find Me Falling (2024) 41% 21/100 EDIT “An awful film. Truly. Some concepts are so inexcusably terrible, it begs the question of who dared to green light it in the first place.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 11, 2026 Full Review Crime 101 (2026) 88% 50/100 EDIT “Crime 101 feels less like a masterclass in filmmaking, and more like the entry level class they skipped but should have taken before embarking on the predictable and slow feature.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 11, 2026 Full Review Faces of Death (2026) 68% 51/100 EDIT “While Faces Of death may think it offers commentary on a world obsessed with violent content, it is unrealistic in its portrayal, leaving the final girl as the only girl and neutering the subtext to avoid chastising the very audience it needs.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 11, 2026 Full Review Hamlet (2025) 71% 64/100 EDIT “If you are a Shakespeare purist, this is not for you. However,if you can appreciate the perspective at play and allow Riz Ahmed’s stunning turn, it might be. Remember, there is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so.” – Mac the Movie Guy Apr 7, 2026 Full Review
