The supporting characters, from Mr. Mole to the Field Mouse and the Jitterbugs, all bring charm and personality, making the world feel alive and carefully crafted. Has cute characters and songs. Shows that if you believe and follow your heart, you will find your happiness. Its what you would expect from a fairy tale. It tells the story of a small girl no bigger than a thumb who is destined to marry a fairy prince, but she's kidnapped and lost in a very big world. Now she must get back home and wait for her true love, but she must face all kinds of obstacles including a toad, a beetle and a mole. This is actually a faithful adaptation of the original source material. I honestly don't understand why people hated it. Especially when you have songs by Barry Manilow and Jodi Benson (Ariel) voicing the titular character. I'd say it's worth a watch, especially if you have children. See more Read all reviews
