The ‘vardi’ and the ‘valour’ that demands that ultimate ‘balidaan’ brings a lump to the throat, and a tear to the eye. Go to Full Review

120 Bahadur is a sincere, technically proficient tribute that gives both heart and mind their due on the battlefield. It aligns the beats and the attitude and swagger that are very much of today, without diluting the details of the military manoeuvre... Go to Full Review

To Ghai’s credit, the film sustains a steady tonal assurance throughout to create a thoughtful meditation on courage and the unseen toll of heroism. Go to Full Review

120 Bahadur is a moist-eyed, heartfelt tribute to the heroism displayed by an Indian Army unit during the India-China War of 1962. Go to Full Review

Despite its flaws, 120 Bahadur avoids glorifying war. Its sincerity is both its strength and its limitation. A heartfelt tribute wrapped in a familiar template; 120 Bahadur deserved a more arresting and emotionally resonant execution. Go to Full Review

Kunal Nov 28 Not bad, but the war was wayyy too dramatized. This war did happen in real life but it was way too overdramatized in this movie. Unrealistic scenes. Pathetic special effects. It was okay if you have nothing to do. See more Saket Nov 28 liked the action scenes...didnt like the flashbacks. soldiers should not be depicted as emotional beings See more Mark C Nov 24 I thought the movie was great! It is very patriotic for India, but anyone can relate to it. It covers a period that Americans like me aren't exposed to much, which is the war between India and China in the Kashmir area. Lots of action but also a great story with many romantic interludes. See more Rahil Sundar Nov 22 Highly Recommend to Watch See more Christopher C. @RT39836430 3d First off, I think it’s important to acknowledge the historical accuracy of the Sino-Indian conflict which director Razneesh Ghai was able to capture in this epic film. I have researched many verified scholarly articles from accredited sources which confirm the events transpired exactly as told. The fact that only 120 courageous Indian soldiers were able to slaughter 1000 Chinamans prove that the Chinamans were treacherous. It’s also well documented that general gao saw this as a clear vision of things to come and withdrew like a coward. Also, recently general gao’s personal journal was discovered and verified through fingerprint topography. In this disturbing account of his personal life, by his own verified writings, it was found that he abused animals, specifically dogs, throughout his life via sexual intercourse. As a dog advocate, I found this to be very unsettling and would not have believed it if it were not for the extensive verifications including forensic bone.
