Phil T @RT16928700 Mar 11 This film provides an interesting take on an oft-used movie trope (no spoiler here). The film was interesting enough to me, despite obvious silliness, to merit 4 stars. One scene surprised me in both positive and negative ways: There's a wedding scene depicting a violinist and cellist playing the slow movement of Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings (with the first four notes of the well-known Volga Boatmen Song imbedded in the musical theme). This lovely and unexpected soundtrack makes for a wonderful film experience; however, the depiction of instrument playing is probably the worst I've ever seen. See more Read all reviews
