A J. @Arizz Jan 26 I have questions: Who is mowing the lawns? Who is watering those alive and well lawns, 5 years later? The characters must be 18, whos piercing faces, five years later? Who's cutting hair? Who's cleaning the swimming pools? Who's washing all the cars? How do I get my time back? People want to know. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Dec 19 After the Pandemic sets out to be a gritty, post-crisis horror film, but it collapses under the weight of its own lack of direction. From the opening scenes, the movie feels disjointed and poorly structured, never establishing a clear tone or narrative focus. Rather than building tension or atmosphere, it exposes its weaknesses almost immediately, making it difficult to stay invested in what is unfolding on screen. The screenplay is the film’s biggest flaw, as it lacks consistency, logic, and meaningful progression. Scenes feel randomly assembled, character motivations are unclear, and the story never develops into anything coherent. Instead of escalating stakes, the film drifts aimlessly, leaving the audience disconnected and confused rather than intrigued. Casting and performances do the film no favors. The acting feels forced and unconvincing, with no emotional weight or chemistry between characters. Combined with weak direction and amateurish cinematography See more gerry h @RT26016196 09/18/2024 Wow, such poor reviews for a great film! I’m old & would have died in the first wave but it gives me hope for our kids & grandkids. Stunning photography, good character development & a well planned plot. I don’t know what you lot want from a film these days! See more Jonny T @RT90378261 08/25/2024 Oof, what a waste of 84 minutes of my life. Wish I didn’t give it a chance. See more Bryan B @heybryan 06/02/2024 Community college level apocalypse movie. Skip unless you have a need for some really craptastic cinema. See more Actually I @Susan265 05/21/2024 Who thought this looked like a finished product? It’s supposed to be five years after the adults have died and only kids are left. But the world looks like dad’s away at work and mom just went to the store. Lawns are mowed, hedges trimmed, neatly parked cars are all sparkling clean, not even litter on the street. Inside the houses it’s all clean, there’s no dust or dirt anywhere, indoor plants are thriving and there’s even a vase of freshly cut flowers in one scene. The CGI is terrible. At one point it looked like they had water gushing out of a mannequin. Did they forget to color it red? The acting was okay for what there was, but there wasn’t much to judge.
