Storrie is the film’s savior, giving a tender and sympathetic performance, elevating material that otherwise sags under the weight of so much same-old action movie cyber-stuff. Go to Full Review

Interesting narrative elements are irredeemably crippled by an unfocused, stilted script and some questionable performances, but the worst committed by April X is how tiresome it feels. Go to Full Review

Connor Storrie has the goods, but April X mistakes style for substance, straining for profundity through nonsensical dialogue, uneven performances, a cluttered narrative, an irritating titular character, and too many bag wigs to keep track of. Go to Full Review

"April X" turns out to be like one of the film’s clones: pretty on the outside, but empty within. Go to Full Review

It amounts to a bunch of sci-fi world building and not much else, introducing various ideas and exploring none of them Go to Full Review

A futuristic thriller packed with present-day cliches, this muddled dystopian saga is more compelling in its concept than its execution. Go to Full Review

Allen 21 min ago Well put together for a low budget/limited release movie. Drags a little… But worth a watch. See more Matt B 21 hrs ago Giving it a positive score for Connor’s performance but my god this movie was terrible See more Cathy 2 days ago The story was unique and thought provoking, though a bit hard to follow. By the end everything is explained. I have recommended the movie to friends and plan to see it again while it is still in theaters. All of the acting was very good. In particular, Conner Storrie's portrayal of Baxter was emotional and gritty from beginning to end. April X is a wild ride that you will not regret going on See more Naz R @RT30471677 1 hr ago Oh god terrible movie, terrible acting and a terrible story! See more Dania Z @RT18168482 1 hr ago April x was a lot of ideas in one movie without focusing on one! Everything about this movie was bad. I tried my best to think about it as something creative or something futuristic but it was super hard to go through all the different stories and the bad acting, Connor storrie couldn’t save this movie his acting was very exaggerated, he was trying so hard and for the story they had an idea but couldn’t do it well. I didn’t enjoy the movie at all and I don’t recommend to watch it, but if you are a Connor storrie fan and you want to see him on a big screen go for it. See more Laura W @RT01069145 19 hrs ago Connor Storrie is star. Loved watching him. He was compelling. I liked the idea of the movie a lot but it needed to do more showing vs telling and what should have felt like rising action and emotion instead felt only like moving forward without increased stakes. It’s too bad because this definitely could have worked. I liked the score too. I will probably watch it again to watch Connor. See more Read all reviews
