Alain E @AlainE Jun 24 An excellent film about a family destroyed by the alcoholism of the parents. Obviously the story is far from original and drug addiction has also analogous effects. The majesty of the storytelling is the emotional situations are presented in a very convincing manner. The acting feels real. It is also served by superb color cinematography. On Viaplay. Then, the film is full of miserable finns in sweden in the 70s, unhappy, drinking, beating the wife, throwing up, fighting, traumatizing the children. And flashbacks during adulthood.
