O filme é um acumulado de clichês do gênero de romance, tornando ele não um filme mas, um compilado de clichês de filmes de romance teen. O filme se apressa em construir um romance, invés de construir os personagens, fazendo com que todos fiquem vagos, o filme se apega a metáforas como a de copo meio vazio e copo meio cheio, mas, não desenvolve nada, a doença que, deveria ser o grande problema da personagem principal, fica esquecido por muito tempo, sendo pouco explorada. Na minha opinião o que salva o longa é a sua excelente trilha sonora. It did a masterful job of story-telling and presents a singer who is like a born-star: Giulia Be did an excellent job as an actress (well, at times she did a bit more pouting than necessary).
