Alain E @AlainE Jun 10 A real masterpiece about the depiction of intense emotional upheaval that results from a medical emergency. The clueless writers of the Pitt and similar shows would benefit a lot studying this Norwegian movie that describes suffering without hysterics. We are not called to share the interpretation of CAT scans and MRIs. The average viewer will not obtain proficiency in treating medical emergencies or an ATLS certification watching one hour or one hundred hours of TV shows. How the medical personnel and civilians are affected is much more important. The movie starts deceptively slow with mundane events in the life of a middle school girl. Twenty six minutes after the start we are in the middle of a metaphorical hurricane. We don’t leave the show with a diagnosis neither a happy or unhappy ending. Life is often like this. Written and directed by Tuva Novotny who has had an extensive acting career. See more Read all reviews
