01/07/2019 Eric Blore as Jameson is the star of this movie! It is another Lone Wolf movie. All fit well in to the period. William Warren acts as the "Sherlock Holmes" type and is able to work around the police. There are many moments of comedy as well as a romantic draw between the lone wolf and Pamela Hart (Hillary Brooke). The plot is similar to many movies that feature "The Lone Wolf", The Falcon, The Saint, the Thin Man ... The police are idiots, the women are lovely, the hero must solve the mystery with the help of his co-heart. That said, they are always fun with a glass or two of wine. What really makes this series worth watching is the easy, urbane chemistry between Warren William and Eric Blore as his often pained but loyal sidekick.
