See more Nicholas P @RT80434987 Oct 4 I got the Vinegar Syndrome remaster of this movie so it looks a lot better than the Troma DVD release but it is like putting a hat on a pig. I can get why this is in the top 5 worst Troma movies. It fails on every technical level. The story is a meandering affair. It takes 44 minutes before *anything* happens. The effects are, laughable and that's being charitable. This movie is a movie that is so bad that the ineptitude is what makes it an interesting watch. See more 06/03/2021 Troma Team delivers with a horror flick that was so crappy it was a great comedy! The acting was low-grade; the scripting and cinematography were done by clueless amateurs; drugged chimpanzees must've made the music, which also prepared the audience for nothing! This is a great example of how you don't make a movie. I loved it and will watch again! See more 08/26/2016 This film is dark. Not in tone, but literally dark. Good luck figuring out what is happening on camera. Fatally genre-blind and equally stupid characters somehow get the South to rise from the grave again. Being a Troma movie, you know what your in for as soon as the title-card hits: so bad it's good. Thankfully for us, all of Troma's back catalogue is free to be watched on their YouTube channel. Let's get too it. +'s: Well...um..it has an interesting story, and...okay it was bad all bad. I can't lie I'm sorry. I had trouble finishing this one. Not too mention when the zombies, yes confederate zombies (or the Dixie Undead if you prefer) eat their victims, it takes forever and I mean forever for the scene go on. I'm still scarred from the seven minute chewing noises (open mouth, sloppy chewing). My god I had to mute. Stay away from this one unless your a Troma fan like myself, but when you pick it up...well I hope you have drugs or something to pass the time while you watch. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
