Benny Page S @RT40507091 Nov 16 Awful. Terrible acting, poor script. It made the Rangers look incompetent. The beach landing looked like they'd just landed somewhere along the Solent at lunchtime during the Summer Season. There was no sense of the scale of the operation, it looked as if the Americans turned up and assaulted the beach with one landing craft and about 30 men. In the background 2 ships. I was half expecting the Isle of Wight car Ferry to loom into view. There was none of the billowing smoke or damage from a major naval bombardment, noise of guns, shells and they simply wandered up the bluff instead of assaulting the cliff. See more John M @RT16786934 06/05/2024 I agree with the other person who just posted one star I'm just giving another half star for the content and anything that puts our veterans from World War II in a good light is a good thing. Otherwise I was looking at the uniforms the Rangers were wearing the ranger tabs on their left shoulder or not issue they look like they were made on a printer come on guys they're a dollar on eBay. Also the acting was not good at all and the special effects they were supposed to rig and demolish a concrete building it looks like they just splashed a gallon of gas in front through a match on it LOL and actually the demo guy made a comment we really blew the hell out of that didn't we sir.
