Ten-year-old Aurora has a mysterious neighbor (Mads Mikkelsen) who kills real-life monsters. He's a hit man for hire. So, when Aurora needs help killing the monster she believes ate her entire family, she procures his services. Suspecting that her parents may have fallen victim to assassins gunning for him, Aurora's neighbor guiltily takes the job. Now, to protect her, he'll need to battle an onslaught of assassins -- and accept that some monsters are real.

It’s dark yet eccentric and colorful with some really cool camera work. I admire how much imagination is on display both from a visual and a story standpoint. Unfortunately, I thought the narrative was stretched a tad too thin.

I really wanted to like this movie. I was hoping that the movie would have been better executed. But in the end, it was a forgettable movie. I was bored watching this movie because there wasn’t any action in it and the ending was disappointing.

Better than I thought it would be. Starts slow but it pays off. It sticks to its presence ends up being a decent film. Mrs Weaver steals the movie every scene she’s in is hilarious

This film was interesting. although some parts are rather hackneyed, the overall story and performances were good. I just wish that the monster was less comic looking but realize it exists in the child's psyche. I liked the locale of the film and the unique use of martial arts.vIt is a different form of the monster under the bed that is a childhood fantasy.
