  • The film is anchored by some dynamic dance sequences and a couple of quirky scenes with a flame-thrower. But I couldn't quite shake the feeling, though... that the film was afflicted with a slightly pervy sheen.

  • A prickly punk remix that takes a traditional art-house character study about a young woman dealing with emotional turmoil and filters it through the stylistic approaches more common to recent art-pop hybrids like "Lemonade."

  • We wouldn't want to live in the world Larrain shows us. But his films are so good they convince us that we do.

  • It's the exuberant yin to the stately yang of 'Jackie', Larrain's last film, and it's full of the pheromones of sexual discovery and the piss and vinegar of toxic relationships.

  • A work of self-conscious experimentalism that's too stilted and distancing to invite involvement, it gets some mileage out of the pulsating rhythms of reggaetón street dance but otherwise is so fragmented it lacks forward motion.
