Occasionally the film gets a little too caught up in its own adorableness...but for the most part “Finding Emily” is just quirky enough, with a lovely sense of place and a few effective nods to “When Harry Met Sally …” for the rom-com completists.

With one watch, it's a delight. With time, it could be up there as one of my favourite comfort movies. I'm sure the film bros might disagree, but as a romantic comedy devotee I have to say: cinema is back.

I thought this was a cute premise for a movie. I enjoy British movies and this did not disappoint me. This guy meets a girl named Emily and she gives him her phone number as she’s rushing off to be with her girlfriends. When he tries to call her, he realizes the phone number is missing one digit and he doesn’t know what her last name is. He tries to find her and ends up finding another Emily who agrees to help him search for the Emily that he is interested. She has an ulterior motive for helping him that he doesn’t know about. This leads to a little mayhem and there are a lot of Emilys in this movie who are not too happy about this guy finding them. They label him a stalker and think he’s threatening. The movie is cute and sweet and I really like the lead actor.
