12/12/2015 beware of the good imdb rating. this movie is indeed bad See more 07/04/2015 For a low budget independent film, From Beneath is very good. Great story, the acting is pretty good, and the mystery is quite tense and engaging. There are only two main characters so there is a lot riding on their shoulders to carry the film. They do a pretty good job. Their relationship feels real and the strain on them from Jason's infection builds the tension well.
