George D @RT49186831 Sep 19, 2026 I find this film will appeal to only a very specific sector within the broad audience this type of documentary attracts. It seems you have to have a strong passion for Angolan culture and elephant finding in order to get any enjoyment out of this. For me it was an especially hard watch and I found myself often puzzled as to why we just had to watch something seemingly irrelevant to the so called ‘plot’ of the documentary for twenty minutes. A complete and utter waste of my time, an irritatingly slow documentary that could have been squeezed into a singular minute reel. Do not recommend whatsoever. See more Brenda B @bstarr Jul 13, 2026 ***Spoiler Alert*** You watch movie to the end, and just when the “professional” camera is left behind, “an” elephant shows up, and the only footage is captured by a cell phone camera, which apparently has no zoom lens. They walk for two hours after being told an elephant has been spotted, WITHOUT THE PROFESSIONAL CAMERAS! What camera was being used to capture them walking and filming with the cell phone? And they miss the arrow shot to collect a DNA sample! No payoff. Seems fake. Waste of time.
