This is a messy film, complete with substantial logic gaps, more than one scenery-chewing performance, and a run time that isn’t earned by its relatively thin, repetitive script. Go to Full Review

Grimcutty is a surprising, terrifying, fun creature feature, and beneath the skin, there’s an upsetting, pulsing heart of trauma and pain. Go to Full Review
Johnny Loftus Decider 10/25/2022
Grimcutty has a strong cast in its favor, and derives some scary-adjacent chills from setting its main baddie loose to grimly grab at teens in trouble. Go to Full Review

Yes, parents and kids need to be mindful of the problems that can arise with technology and especially with the mental and emotional well-being of teens, but this goofy-looking monster and uneven story aren't the best vehicles to deliver that message. Go to Full Review

A comically out-of-touch Internet fable, Grimcutty is dull at best, borderline unwatchable at worst... About as enjoyable as eating Tide Pods. Go to Full Review

Without so much “on the nose” exposition, I might have left the film feeling more in awe, rather than feeling as if I had left a class lecture. Go to Full Review

K B. @RT39361253 3d No notes.. I liked it! See more Tommy D @Thomas005 Jun 8 A horrifying and unbearable film to watch. The title monster is so ridiculous and poorly executed that it's laughable. The acting is also abominable See more Charles T. @CharlesGaming1000 May 29 it’s not the greatest horror movie it’s fine and it’s fun See more Kayden D. @RT91277629 May 15 Genuinely the worst horror movie i have ever seen and i watched the damn winnie the pooh horror movie See more Cole M. @colemcq Mar 17 This movie sucks, let me summarize it for you. Technology bad, kids are dumb, Fortnite, ASMR, terrible acting, written by a 3 times divorced soccer mom probably, terrible monster and even worse cgi. There is not a single good thing about this movie, this should literally be considered a crime because of how bad this movie is. The amount of “hey kids here’s a cool reference about Starbucks or Fortnite please enjoy this movie” is enough to make you want to literally vomit. I’m also still actively watching part of this movie as im writing this and let me reiterate just how terrible the acting and writing is. Whoever made this movie should have THEIR phone taken away and camera and laptop and whatever other device they used to make this god awful movie, also the audio in this movie is so bad I had to turn my tv up to 60 to even hear it. 0/10 Awful movie do not watch this movie for any reason See more Jeremiah C. @RT17741701 Dec 31 Unoriginal they had something perfect but because there was no imagination behind the writing they completely and utterly dropped the ball. They should pay me for messing up a movie that could have been an amazing movie. If I could have gave you something less than one star I would have. See more Read all reviews
