Reminiscent of early Tarantino, this edgy, outrageous thriller is one "habit" you'll want to acquire! The action begins as L.A. party girl Mads (Bella Thorne, The DUFF) gets a gig running drugs for Eric, a washed-up Hollywood star. When their cash gets stolen and Eric is slain by a rival drug lord, Mads and her two sexy BFFs hide out by dressing up as nuns. But in spite of their costumes, these bad girls are no angels. Also stars Paris Jackson, Hana Mae Lee (Pitch Perfect), and Gavin Rossdale (Constantine).

The whole package has the feel of one of those sneaky marketing campaigns designed to punt a product such as lingerie in a very oblique way.

Habit feels like an array of "bad taste" choices made simply because they are "in bad taste." All of this offensiveness falls flat when the movie has so little to say about any of it.

Did I like Habit? No. I can't say that I did. Was I still suitably impressed by the visual imagination fueling Shirtcliff's handling of the material? Absolutely.

While the plot might sound familiar, there's nothing in writer/director Janell Shirtcliff's film that comes close to the success of Sister Act. It will even rank lower than the woeful Nuns on the Run.

Pretty awful. Bella Thorne is an unbelievable "Jesus freak" that uses the guise of a habit to run in the drug circles. Maddening and silly.
