Bring back 'witches' in horror! so much fun. main character felt a bit underdeveloped and the villian seemed to be 'evil for the sake of evil' which is as one-note as it gets. Side characters, despite their lack of material, were my favorite part Their actors gave great performances.

Damian McCarthy continues to wow. I typically do love these types of horror. However the balance is incredible. The exploration of grief blew me away. Adam Scott continues to be one of the interesting actors of our time.

Hokum was a decent film. Part folklore, part, psychological, thriller, and part haunted house. It had some good jump, scares and an interesting plot twist but overall it was pretty average performances were solid atmosphere was good characters were good. It just didnt scratch that true horror it for me.
