Picture Predator meets Aliens meets I Am Legend, with a dash of Final Fantasy It's a slow build, and a few stretches feel repetitive, like scenes you've already watched play out again. What keeps it moving is the humor. The comedic moments make the characters feel real and pull you deeper into the story. The CG is just okay. I couldn't tell whether the slightly rough look was a deliberate style choice or the effects just weren't quite there yet. Overall, it's an enjoyable ride. It just didn't need three hours. The whole story could have been told in two. See more LINDSEY C 2 days ago really non-stop action once it picks up. it's suspenseful, it's comedic, the dialogue is fantastic. and it was really unexpected. at a certain point I felt that it was kind of long but then it has a second wind . I honestly thought it was a zombie movie from the previews but it takes you on a creative twist.
