Until someone makes a film about a haunted sourdough starter, this ingenious horror movie will remain the zeitgeistiest thing to emerge from lockdown. Go to Full Review

Host brings literally nothing new to the table at all. Everything I saw during my watching of this movie is stolen whole cloth from another found footage movie of varying title. Go to Full Review

A number of lockdown horrors made an impact in the early 2020s, but this clever Zoom-based chiller makes smart use of what became a very familiar medium during that time. Go to Full Review

an of-our-moment frightener whose storyline takes a back seat to its penetrating undertone of disconnected anxiety, made all the more impactful by how authentically it captures our now daily ritual of grasping for each other across the digital void. Go to Full Review

Bethany S. @RT78665920 2d Really enjoyed it, jumping scares got me a few times. Definitely worth the watch. See more angelmarie0071 T @RT65335963 3d This film is a knock off of Unfriended (2014). I did not find it scary and I found the endless screaming to be annoying. It does not deserve to be considered a highly rated scary movie and it is very disappointing. I say skip it and watch Unfriended instead or heck, even Paranormal Activity. This is Netflix swill. See more Luke S. @bronson_31 May 27 Just a truly bad movie. It doesn’t reinvent the online séance/found-footage horror formula, but it executes it so well that it feels fresh anyway. The pacing, tension, and inventive jump scares kept escalating, and it constantly found clever new visual angles to make familiar ideas feel genuinely frightening. I recommend it highly for any horror fanatic looking for a major high quality scare or where I loved it the most as a kid, at a sleepover!
