It's a fun ride back in time. Good performances and an interesting story, with a great soundtrack. If you like a little teen Summer rollercoaster ride with a bit of Scarface thrown in, you'll probably like this

It's strange, it has the making and feel of a coming-of-age, but clearly it didn't resonate with many. The ending is the epitome of bittersweet. I feel like the cast besides Timothee Chalamet and Maia Mitchell were miscast. Despite that, I'd say it's worth a watch.

I loved this movie. This is decent but uneven film. It has a strong style, good summer atmosphere, and a solid performance from Timothee Chalamet, which keeps it interesting. The visuals and mood are probably its biggest strength, giving it a nostalgic, emotional feel. However, the story is not very tight and can feel slow or messy in parts, so it may not work for everyone. Overall, It is more about vibe and character mood than a strong, gripping plot.
