Everyone involved in the making of this movie should be ashamed of themselves. There are slow burners and then there's no flame lit at all. Just talking and contemplating for almost 2 hrs, nothing happens to tide you over , just continuing pointless babble between characters until last 5 minutes of the movie and by that time you really just want Justin Long to die already, if you didn't already at the start. He does play the perfect stereotypical doosch bag, I will give him that, that's usually how he's type cast and probably his general personality. The fact that RT gave this 60% really puts their knowledge and credibility of films reviews in question. I wouldn't give this more than 10% . Negative -5 Stars See more Nicholas J @NickJunes Jan 21 The man the protagonist is based on does not exist. It’s like a 12-year-old girl wrote a caricature of a man. In my 45 years of life I have never met a man like this. There’s no way a man like this would even get married. At times he acts like getting laid is really important and other times he acts like it’s not. Sometimes he respects women and sometimes he doesn’t. His character is incredibly inconsistent. If he actually acted this way in real life nobody could bear to be around him. He appears to be in some kind of sales or consultant job which makes his personality even more unbelievable. No one could be as socially awkward as this man and hold a professional career. He is like a child. This is what makes it so hard to believe. The premise of the movie is good but the writing and the lead male character is not believable. He’s like an annoying virgin yet he’s fine with being incredibly aggressive... He makes no sense.
