Riley (Kaitlyn Dias) is a happy, hockey-loving 11-year-old Midwestern girl, but her world turns upside-down when she and her parents move to San Francisco. Riley's emotions -- led by Joy (Amy Poehler) -- try to guide her through this difficult, life-changing event. However, the stress of the move brings Sadness (Phyllis Smith) to the forefront. When Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley's mind, the only emotions left in Headquarters are Anger, Fear and Disgust.

It is not easy to depict something at complex as depression, or something that resembles depression in Riley’s case. But Inside Out somehow makes sense of it.

8.5/10. concept of the movie is flawless. perfect display of a child growing up and the emotions that take place. i think it would be cool to have some time between knowing they are moving and actually moving to see the emotions work in a social setting with it. the movie throws an absolute perfect alley oop to the opportunity to a sequel.

Synopsis
