James Helsing's trite "Prescience" only warrants notoriety for turning a baffling screenplay into a poorly acted melodrama via a misused cast composed of rising talents and respected veterans such as Oscar-nominee Eric Roberts. Go to Full Review

Jacob Solbux 1d Almost impossible to watch. Like 20 predictable gay cliche's in one film going 10 different directions. The characters had no depth, wonky zany writing. Horrible overrall but I kept watching cause of the hot guy. Also Carmen Carrera from trans activist, drag race girl was in it. See more Tom D @Gaetano16 3d What a waste of my time! The ending makes no sense at all. Why are all the positive reviews anonymously written while the negative reviews have the poster's name? See more Timothy P @timop1919 Apr 25 What the hell are the people who left positive reviews thinking? The acting is absurdly bad and the plot makes no sense. If you watch it as an unintentional comedy then maybe it's acceptable but as s serious movie is just so bad. See more 11/06/2019 I think this film is very current and important to watch. However, there are some issues with the storyline and directing. But, overall I enjoyed it. I streamed it online with my gay friend and he loved it. He cried twice and told me he felt like this movie was based on his life. I am giving it a four because according to my friend is one of the best gay indies out there and I think it was ok. See more 11/04/2019 René Mena is quite good and the story presented in Prescience is one worth telling. A complex love story that depicts a side of love that many in this industry and our community stray away from. There were a few directorial moments that gave me pause but all and all a wonderfully well written movie. See more 10/31/2019 I had been looking forward to this movie for a long time and I was not disappointed in the slightest. It was funny, heartfelt, and honest and it was perfect, this is beautiful, and very necessary! My favorite scene was by far René Mena's speech on the sofa that if you watched the movie, you probably know what I'm talking about. There are probably just a few little things I didn't like, especially some of the classic topics and stereotypes that this genre of film usually has, but still, it's amazing. We need more films like this. Fun, heartwarming, and just fantastic all around. Whether you're gay, straight, or in between, you will absolutely love this indie movie! Also, a reminder if this wasn't enough: Be yourself. Be happy. You deserve it. See more Read all reviews
