An aging jockey (Clifton Collins Jr.), hopes to win one last title for his longtime trainer (Molly Parker), who has acquired what appears to be a championship horse. But the years -- and injuries -- have taken a toll on his body, throwing into question his ability to continue his lifelong passion. And the arrival of a young rookie rider (Moises Arias), who claims to be his son, and whom he takes under his wing, further complicates the path to fulfilling his dream.

The most accurate representation of race track life. Period. I was hesitant to watch this movie. I expected another "Seabiscuit" or some other idiotic representation of the track. But what I watched is real life. Clifton is every old timer I’ve ever met. Trying to do good by someone who will never appreciate it, just to make sure they are safe and succeed where the hero failed. This movie felt real. I felt like I knew everyone on screen, felt like I’ve watched this drama play out on every track from Woodbine to Churchill, Fairgrounds to Hollywood Park. Clifton: thank you for getting it right. 🙏

Horse racing is an evil sport, for horses & humans. Watching this jockey on his last legs was quite sad, especially with everyone deserting him. Lead actor did a great job.
