I'm 75 years old. I thought the acting in this movie was good however the plot developed slowly and was often tediously boring. It made me feel sad. Unfortunately, we will all face similar circumstances someday assuming we live long enough. I, like most people I'm sure, endeavor to ignore the possibility hoping that it will simply go away. The movie was for me like paying to go see one of my nightmares.

Charlotte Rampling is good in everything, and I liked the theme that being in your 70’s doesn’t mean that you’ve give up on sex, fun and being wild. I was less impressed by the booze soaked plot, the inclusion of teenage suicide without any real investigation of this serious topic and the morphing of this theme into an elder’s euthanasia
