One of the wagons attached to a wagon train has a damaged axle. Because the train has a strict schedule to follow, the broken wagon is left behind. Jason Clay (Lance Fuller) and Tobias Taylor (Chill Wills) repair the axle, and the situation appears to be remedied. But then the wagon crew runs into a bigger problem -- they are in Comanche territory, and the Comanche refuse to let them pass unless they hand over the hundred Kentucky rifles on board.

06/29/2023 A good western here. I recommend it, James Welch, Henderson, Arkansas, June 29, 2023. See more 02/18/2013 This is a cheap western made before the really good TV westerns came out. It looked like a TV show. They had better stories on TV's Wagon Train. If you're going to have a pregnant character about to give birth, give her a belly to make her look pregnant. The story was supposed to take place in Commanche territory which is west Texas but it was filmed in Southern California desert country. By the time the wagon trains got to west Texas the Kentucky Rifle was obsolete. The Kentucky Rifle was used at the Alamo but was ineffective against the Commanche. The Texas Rangers gave them up in favor of the Colt Revolver. Also the precussion cap lock had replaced the flint lock during the Mexican War.
