Although most of this crime drama is so familiar as to be tired, the filmmakers nonetheless take a little extra time to develop a strange, gritty atmosphere that elevates the movie above the average.

I didn't know what to expect from Little Dixie, but I like Frank Grillo enough that I thought I would give it a shot. I loved it. It's been a while, since I watched a blood, and guts movie that was all about the body count. Turns out I missed it. I read the reviews after watching the movie. I was surprised how many were negative. If you like tough guys...really bad guys, and body's dropping like flies, give it a look. You won't be disappointed.

I've sat through some rubbish films in my time & sadly this one is right up there with them. Frank Grillo is a decent actor but there wasn't a lot of acting in this film. It was pretty much a killing spree with lots of people getting popped. It was so boring that I switched off before the ending & googled it just out of curiosity.

I’m going to go against the grain here and say that I loved it. Excellent characterisation of minor characters, good music score, subtle humour, tight writing. All in all a real step above the usual. Frank Grillo did good. I’d even watch it again.
