And the actor plays the son is the only good actor in the film. Very weak writing, soap opera alike and very Italian drama. A romanticized view of Italy. I give one star for the landscape and for the actor plays de son. I kept watching hoping the story would get better and never did. Horrible movie! A lot of emotional glances about a relationship with a father and son that no longer connect after the death of the mother of Micheal Richardson’s character. The characters are meant to be healing their broken relationship, but it is never very clear what the rift is about to begin with, other than the father shutting out the son.
