I’m huge fan of the Safdie brothers, but this one blew their other films away. The complex plot was held together by incredible prefaces, many by people who aren’t actors. Marty was both inspiring and annoying. And Gwyneth Paltrow finally got a role that matches her skills. This director lives the human story, and this film insatiably explores our ability to destroy, create, gamble, and love in ways that few do today.

One of the worst movies Ive ever seen. It was confusing, unusually loud, and unlikable characters. The story line was unimpressive and boring. Wish I stayed home instead of watching this dumb movie.
