In MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, Director Travis Knight brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen in this epic live-action adventure. After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man -- the most powerful man in the universe.

Was totally swept away by this super vibrant, weird and gleeful romp. It's downright ridiculous but ridiculous works when the cast and crew wholly get the kind of movie they're making and are enthusiastic about going all out to bring it to life.

It was kind of hoakey and there were instances where it was supposed to be funny but fell flat. I guess there really is not much you can do with that source material, and I grew up on He Man. It was a distraction for for about 2 hours but I suggest seeing on a matinee if you are going to even go the theater at all.

Waaaay better movie than I was expecting based on the previews. Everyone did great portraying their parts and Leto surprisingly nailed Skeletor. The humor was great and the added touches like the mock laugh scene at the end was a great touch of humor. The end credits surprises made you want to go YES! louder than you should. Never been this kiddy like a kid for a movie since I was probably a kid, and Im in my late 40s. Highly recommend it to any fan or Gen-X kid. Looking forward to a sequel and will be buying in when it comes out on Blu-ray 4K.
