The colorful cast of characters, and the brilliant portrayal of the death doula by Debra Wilson, will stay with you long after the film ends. See more 04/23/2022 Ummm wow. A friend who's taste I trust told me to watch this, omg this movie is so hilarious and thought provoking. Reminded me of Harold and Maude which is one of the best films of all cinema. I fell in love with each actor and was impressed by the balanced representation and points of view. Will be recommending to everyone I know. I hope to see more from these filmmakers. While some of the characters seem like "caricatures," all of the actors give authentic, enjoyable performances. The payoff comes right at the end. The conscious choice that Jimmy makes is extremely powerful and made all the more real by the fact that we have really gotten to know him by then. The ending has stayed with me. Watch this movie with your partner or your friend and see what conversations it inspires in your own life!
