Tomlin brings out Fonda’s best, rounding out those brittle edges, as their characters continue to have wild adventures and evolve -- letting go and moving on -- long past their eligibility for Social Security.

The film is funny, but it lacks the tenderness and chemistry audiences have come to expect from the Fonda-Tomlin dynamic. The film also tries to pack in way too many elements... I think an effort was made to share a story and send a message.

I liked it but thought it would have been funnier with Jane and Lily together. No matter what I do like them to together and would go watch their movies. The movie is worth watching, and heads up get extra napkins if your sentimental like me, to wipe the tears.

Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are a power house of performance. A comedy about old age is unusual. A drama about old age is also unusual. This is a combination that fills the gap completely. I thoroughly enjoyed i.

I was expecting to see a nice comedy with two talented actresses. Badly written script and poor directing made for a bad movie. The "ha ha" lines were very far and few and when they did happen, they were not enough to hardly generate a smile. Sorry I wasted my money on this movie.
