When a research scientist makes national news proving she can track people into the afterlife, Rose sees a way out and Teddy sees his chance to finally make it. These two strangers, both harboring dark secrets, race to join the doctor's contentious study and leave this life behind. While Rose is haunted by a ghostly presence that she can't outrun, Teddy is forced to confront his past. As these two misfits humorously quarrel their way across the country, they meet people along the way who force them to reckon with what is really driving them.

There were some parts of the movie that were pretty boring, but the movie took so many unexpectedly heartwarming turns that made it so enjoyable and wholesome. I definitely recommend it for sci-fi and drama fans!

I had no idea what to expect from this, but it kept me engaged from the off. I don't know whether being a suicide survivor made a difference to my experience of the film, but I sobbed hard, and absolutely loved it. It genuinely captured the true experience of feeling as though your life on earth isn't worthwhile, whilst also encapsulating how shedding the shadows that haunt you, can be the one step between you feeling worthless, and having a happy life. I absolutely loved it, I'll be following this director for sure. Nothing was gratuitous, there were no viewpoints being rammed down my throat, just a really honest portrayal of how a person can go from feeling like the world is leaving them behind, and then understanding how love changes everything. A beautiful love story that will stay with me for a long time

Foresaw uneventful on a visually mediated pace with a humbly strained chemistry that’s purposefully formulated towards the main hook regarding the conceptual fork of “will they, won’t they”, which predictably evaluate their personal meaning of life as enigmatically tested. (B-)
