Movie started slow. Had a slow middle and was very good at the end. Some parts were quite predictable and was just a matter of timing. Acting was very good!

Curry Barker's Obsession is a beautifully crafted horror film. He's a director to keep looking toward in the future. The film follows a shy young man and his obsession with the girl of his dreams. Upon finding an odd "'One Wish Willow" at a curio shop he wishes his crush would love him more than anyone else in the world. Careful what you wish for. This is a nice take on the classic "monkey's paw" story with real teeth. The horrible things that occur are graphic, and sad in a way. Great ride this one. Performances are spot on. I'll never look at a stack of boxes the same way again. Don't miss it!

Not scary, but deliciously CREEPY and SHOCKING (just wait ‘till the end)…The creative triumph of this film is that it takes the very innocent premise of the desire for reciprocity from a crush, and turns it into a DARK ride.
