Tiene sus limitaciones por seguir las normas de una película de explotación que prioriza el espectáculo, pero no se puede negar que tiene mucho potencial. Dejo algunas cosas fuera y algunos vacíos que podrían haber justificado una secuela que profundizara más la mitología. Pero ya no había nada más para contar, así que Olaf al menos hizo algo digno para su carrera cinematográfica. Solo se puede decir que esta es otra joya del cine de horror que todo amante del género tiene la obligación de ver y apreciar. Aunque no ha sido muy trascendental, vale la pena darle una oportunidad. Mi calificación final para esta película es un 8/10. See more 01/21/2021 This film is great, even though the version i have the tracking on the audio is off..an horror movie fan should see this movie See more 07/10/2013 A handful of b-horror veterans come together to ruin an otherwise wonderfully dark, violent and highly creative German horror film by giving it a screechingly awful, nerve-grating dub treatment. My deepest condolences to Mr. Ittenbach for having his masterwork fall into the hands of the wrong company (SHAME on you, EI/Alternative Cinema!!), and I hope that someday a REAL horror distributor releases this, and gives it the treatment it deserves. Definitely not for the squeamish, nor for the seekers of big-budgeted blockbusters, but the true grue horror fan will probably eat this up with a spoon and then ask for seconds while sporting a gut-eating grin. IF, that is, you can get past the awful dubbing. If you can find this with the original German audio, you're in for a delicious treat. See more 09/02/2012 I decided to give director Ittenbach one more try after seeing The Burning Moon to see if he could improve at all as a director as he has with his FX work... Nope, not one bit. However it should be said that I'm not sure if I can entirely blame Ittenbach since the English dubbing courtesy of Shock-O-Rama Cinema is so atrocious and distracting that it should be criminal. So it looks like I'll have to watch ANOTHERone before I can write him off altogether. The pacing is somewhat off and the characters and attempts at comedy are also flawed, but the film is redeemed by the final act which delivers around 15 minutes straight of cheap over the top gore effectively enough made to stand up with Zombie masters such as George A. Romero, Lucio Fulci, Sam Raimi and Peter Jackson. A good starting point for anyone wishing to check out the German underground horror scene as it is less visibly cheap and trashy than Andreas Schnaas's Violent Shit films and less complex and disturbing than Jorg Buttgereit's Nekromantik See more Read all reviews
