At 2½ hours plus, it also has its longueurs but there are some spectacularly beautiful moments and Gosling makes an engaging companion who makes something poignant as well as funny out of Grace’s unwelcome elevation to hero status.

Im not entirely sure where this movie fell short. It has a great cast, the concept is great, the humor is there. I think that basically it was just too long. Im not a filmmaker and do not understand the mechanics of constructing movies but I feel as though the problem was with the editing. I think a good bet couldve been trimmed.

This is the most beautiful movie Ive seen in a long time. Its so full of honor, humility, and in the bravery it takes to sacrifice oneself for the greater good of someone else. I cant say enough about it. Thanks to the actors, !!especially Ryan Gosling!!, and the movie industry for making such a great film!!! Its so full of hope you cant help but cry throughout the experience. Go see it and enjoy!!!
