Brutal and bloody. Intense and engaging. Amazing action sequences. Good intrigue. Even a dash of humor. An enjoyable, well-rounded film in this genre. Standout performance by Milla Jovovich. The reason for 4 stars and not higher would be a spoiler. But worth the watch nonetheless.

Went in blind and the movie had lots of entertaining action which was predictable up to the end. There are some Rambo first blood vibes going on in the movie which made me laugh. Overall, recommend even for the awareness message it conveys and why the main character is fighting.
