Ralph Breaks the Internet would've been a fun but soulless movie if not for its nuanced and necessary story about friendship. Go to Full Review

Movies don't get more timely than Ralph Breaks the Internet - an exhilarating yet dismaying sequel to 2012's Wreck It Ralph, for my money easily the smartest and most endearing Disney animated feature of recent years. Go to Full Review

Conceptually, it's rather ingenious, with well-aimed barbs at abusive commenter culture and social-media narcissism that adds up to a welcome moral for small fry... Go to Full Review

It certainly doesn’t rank among the higher standards of modern animations like Inside Out or Coraline. But it’s vibrant and funny, and it has charm to spare. Go to Full Review

Despite some minor flaws with logic, Ralph Breaks the Internet is a great addition to Disney's modern filmography and is another winner for the series Go to Full Review

jeff k 02/03/2025 One of the best animated films of all time See more Carly D @RT13055453 18h Great movie with an important message about friendship and emotional growth. Plus the Disney Princesses are in it! With the original voice actresses from Ariel to now, it's a great tribute to their collective legacy. See more S L @SLD82 2d The more you like Wreck-It Ralph, the more you'll despise this movie. It throws out everything that made the first movie great, including half of the main cast and all of the cool attention to detail in plots and settings, and replaces it with internet jokes and Disney advertising. Ralph and Vanellope are very out-of-character, with Ralph especially being made to look like a stereotypical idiot oaf. It's a shame because Wreck-It Ralph is the sort of movie with the creative potential for a fantastic sequel/series much like Toy Story, and the crew had so many nice concepts and ideas they'd shared that got removed from the final release. I don't blame director Rich Moore for leaving Disney after the way this movie was strangled by them. See more Admiral B @RT82156248 5d After I watched this movie years ago, while I can understand that it’s really not meant to be such a deep movie, it pretends that the entire audience is stupid and never watched the first movie, and will absorb the theme of "Don’t Be Clingy" with no issue whatsoever despite the movie failing at presenting that theme at all. It completely trashes the first movie as if the writers personally had a vendetta against Ralph and Penelope. Watching other people review this movie I completely agree that they turned both Ralph and Penelope into mindless idiots with no lessons learned from the first movie at all. Penelope decides to do the exact same thing Turbo did, which cause Turbo’s game to get trashed in the first movie, and pretends like it’s not going to happen to Sugar Rush just because they bought the new wheel. While this doesn’t end up happening because it’s a Disney movie, logically her actions would have destroyed her own game. I agree this is just the emoji movie of Disney. See more Vanguard Man V @Vanguard_Guy Jun 26 Okay Sequel With Unnecessary Post Credit Scenes!! See more Tyler S @tylerking24 Jun 24 Really didn't know what to expect here, but I thought it lived up to the first one better than I would have expected! Was just as funny, and it flowed really well again. This one felt like it dragged a bit more than the first one tho. Also, I genuinely haven't laughed at a post credit scene that much in a minute. And it should NOT have been that funny. See more Read all reviews
