Deb G. Jan 20 Lucy Liu provides an unburnished portrayal of a single mother hiding the shame of her son's mental illness from her Asian American community. Although it might sound horrific, I can empathize with the final decision she makes. This movie will haunt me for a long time. The third act is the slowest since we see the characters actually take action in real time and not just jumping scene to scene.
